Welcome to my research website. I am an assistant project scientist at the Institute of Marine Science, University of California, Santa Cruz, and an affiliate of the Southwest Fisheries Science Center, National Marine Fisheries Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. I use cutting edge computer modeling and data analysis techniques to solve real-world fluid mechanics problems with a strong human element.

I hope you find the time you spend here fruitful and enjoyable. Please browse through my research pages and contact me if you have any feedback or are interested in collaborating with our research group.

10/4/2019: I gave a talk at the 18th International Workshop on Multi-scale Unstructured Mesh Numerical Modeling for Coastal, Shelf and Global Ocean Dynamics in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The talk, for which I won an Early Career Innovation travel award, was on chaotic dispersion in branched channel tidal networks.
